Joost van der Westhuizen was released from his hospital in good health on Wednesday morning.
After watching the Springboks’ 28-25 victory over the Lions on Saturday, the former scrumhalf complained of chest pains. He collapsed and was taken to Sunninghill Hospital in an unconscious state early on Sunday morning, but was discharged three days later.
